Am PIER Day lauscht eine Gruppe Menschen auf Stuehlen einem Referenten

On November 18, 2022, the PIER DAY took place on the Bahrenfeld Campus. The aim of the event was to present the recent and current joint research activities of the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY) and the Universität Hamburg (UHH). In addition, future perspectives of the research cooperation between DESY and UHH were discussed in the context of future infrastructure and campus development (e.g. PETRA IV and Science City Hamburg Bahrenfeld).

The cooperation between UHH and DESY in PIER deals mainly with the fields of particle physics, nano- and photon science as well as infection and structural biology.
